Summer 2021 with Grayson & Skyler
What an absolutely wonderful summer it was with my two boys.
Was it difficult?
Did it test my patience, and endurance, at times?
Was it exhausting?
Yes, absolutely, to all of the above!
Oh my gosh, yes!
But here’s the thing…
It was absolutely wonderful.
My boys are beautiful.
Skyler learning new words and pointing them out every time that he sees them:
“Truck.”
“Airplane.”
“Motorhome.”
“Daddy’s car.”
I can hear him saying these words right now, and it makes me smile.
I can also see him pushing his balance bike down the street (not balancing it).
And this too makes me smile.
Grayson:
Reading to him.
Him asking questions about what we read, the things he sees and hears.
Playing the Velcro ball game.
And the adventures we had:
Splashing around on extremely hot days in the cold water of Clear Creek.
Kayaking with Uncle Dan on Pinecrest Lake.
Stopping for a swim and the butterfly goes to Skyler and Grayson.
Exploring the boats at San Francisco Maritime, seeing the sea lions, and having yummy ice creams.
Splish-splashing in grandma’s swimming pool; enjoying the hot tub too.
Kid’s Kingdom playground and splashpad at Enterprise Park.
Going on walks around the neighborhood and pushing them in the bicycle trailer.
